I september slår Kistamässan upp sina portar och därmed skapas en helt ny mötesplats i hjärtat av Kista Science City. Området är redan idag ett världsledande ICT-kluster och attraherar människor och företag från hela världen. Det har resulterat i en spännande mix av människor, kulturer och entreprenörskap som tillsammans bildar en dynamisk och färgstark inramning för Kistamässan.    
 
Den direkta anslutningen till E4, pendeltåg och tunnelbana gör Kistamässan lättillgänglig oavsett färdmedel och närheten till Arlanda och Bromma flygplats skapar gynnsamma förutsättningar även för långväga och internationella kontakter.

Klövern is creating an exhibition centre in Kista

Klövern is creating an exhibition centre in KistaThe exhibition centre Sollentunamässan is moving its entire operation to one of Klövern’s properties in Kista in the autumn of 2008. This lease agreement is a first step towards an offensive investment strategy to provide Kista Science City with more service and an improved infrastructure. Klövern’s plans also include a hotel, restaurants and shops.The exhibition centre has signed a ten-year lease for 14,000 sq.m. The project start is in April 2007 and the centre is expected to move into the premises in August 2008. The centre will be located at the property Lidarände 1 in central Kista, with Ericsson’s head office as one of the nearest neighbours. Klövern’s investment is calculated at SEK 130 million and the direct yield of the property, after completion of the project, is estimated to be 6.5 per cent. The lease agreement is conditional on a decision on a new local plan. "The exhibition centre’s establishment in Kista is an important step in our ambition to develop and reinforce Kista as a world-leading cluster in ICT - Information, Communication and Technology", says Klövern’s CEO Gustaf Hermelin. "It is gratifying to be able to meet a need that tenants have expressed for a number of years." "Kistamässan will become an important part of the expanding exhibition centre market in Sweden. The new fair facility will be adapted for exhibitions and fairs as well as events and concerts. The facility has a unique location directly adjacent to the E4 highway and close to communications such as the metro, commuter trains and buses. We expect to become an important player both in a regional and national perspective.
